From Splashin' Safari you head under The Voyage and through a tunnel before getting to Pilgrims Plunge's huge station.  They have a massive queue inside that ends up at a space where you can store your clothes before entering the final line that takes you up and over the trough to the boats.  From there you get locked in and head out and around to Pilgrims Plunge's unique elevator lift.  The lift's legs are bowed out in the middle so that the two platforms can slide past each other.  Just something for the nervous to know before taking the Plunge; the car will tilt side to side as it travels out the bowed elevator track.  Don't freak out it's supposed to do that.  It is pretty cool though and is a little bit freaky.



Once your platform reaches one hundred and thirty five feet above where you began the platform comes to a stop and you're given a few seconds to survey the park and surrounding countryside before moving out slowly...



...and heading on down.



As you can see it's a long way down, but it is the worlds tallest water ride so you'd have to expect that.
