This year Christmas fell on July 13th for me as that was the day that Holiday World & Splashin' Safari announced their 2006 additions.  Mrs. Koch was there to kick off the festivities.



After Mrs. Koch spoke it was time for the meat and bones of the announcement from her son and park President Will Koch.  Unfortunately the Windows updater kept asking him if he wanted to re-boot his computer during the presentation.



This is a chart showing Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's annual attendance from the 1970's to today.  With a growth like that I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and do some investing in a then fledgling park in rural Southern Indiana.



For Splashin' Safari in 2006 which also happens to be Holiday World's 60th anniversary the Bahari River will be one of the additions.  The Bahari River is a lazy river like Splashin' Safari's Congo River but it will be heavily themed like Bahari and have a bunch of effects like geysers and other surprises.
