The Storm Runner Roller Coaster at Hersheypark, Hershey, Pennsylvania

Coming after Storm Runner's impressive launch comes and hundred and fifty foot tall Top Hat.

Top Hat's are pretty simple elements.  You go straight up, get sent skyward against your restraints as the train speeds over the top and then finish is up with going straight down.

If you can pry your fingers from the restraints after the launch there is plenty of airtime as you shoot up and over Storm Runner's Top Hat.

Really from the time the hydraulic launch kicks in until you hit the brakes Storm Runner is a giant maelstrom of twists, turns, inversions, positive G forces and plenty of negative G's.

It might seem a little cliché to call a launched coaster like Storm Runner "a blast" but it is.  Storm Runner is insane fun and with a five minute wait time we couldn't stop the cycle of riding, getting off, getting back on and riding again.  I tried to keep count of how many times we took Storm Runner for a ride but my brain got scrambled after twenty or so rides and we kept going well after that because it was so much fun.
