The Farenheit Roller Coaster at Hersheypark, Hershey, Pennsylvania

The next coaster on our quest to ride all of Hersheypark's coasters was Fahrenheit.

Hersheypark seems to have had a real close relationship with Intamin as three of the coasters added to the park in a row were Intamin designs.  With two of the three being prototypes (Skyrush and Fahrenheit) it looks as if Hersheypark is or was Intamin's showcase park.

Fahrenheit as a prototype seems to be Intamin's version of a Gerstlauer Eurofighter coaster.  Both designs have straight vertical lift hills followed by straight down drops with a very twisted and looping layout following.

The big difference between Gestlauuer's original design and Intamin's version is that Fahrenheit has a train with three cars that seat twelve over Gerstlauer's eight riders per car.

Ok, enough of the coaster geekery and industry talk over Fahrenheit.  On to the ride.
