The Great Escape in Queensbury New York is probably the best kept secret of the Six Flags chain of parks. This wonderful little park in up state New York was purchased by Premiere Parks shortly before that company took over Six Flags. It is filled with charm and character from its humble beginnings as "Storytown U.S.A." that transforming it into a Six Flags "branded" park would ruin.
