I really wish I had more than just a little over an hour to explore
The Great Escape. From what I hear it's Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro's
favorite park in the chain. If that is indeed true I'd have no complaints
if he took what has been done at The Great Escape and transplanted it at
parks across the chain.
While again literally running around the park I stumbled upon this sign
for Alice In Wonderland and I had no idea what it was. So I went in
to check it out.
It was a walk through 3d version of the story. I have never seen anything
like this and was really impressed with it. I know things like this
won't be at a draw at a big park but it was a charming little attraction
and the type of thing that made me fall in love with The Great Escape.
Here's the only real negative to The Great Escape. I am so tired of
The Wiggles and Wiggles World at various Six Flags. Why not go for
adding Looney Tunes whom are timeless instead of a kids show whose popularity
is waning and won't be around in ten years?
