Being a mine train junkie I have yet found a mine train that I didn't
like.
After Opryland closed down in 1997 Six Flags bought Canyon Blaster and a
few other rides. It sat north of Indianapolis at the remains of the
Old Indiana Fun park which was the Six Flags bone yard at the time before
being moved to The Great Escape in 2003.
Canyon Blaster has kind of an interesting layout. There are no big
drops but there are plenty of turns with one massive helix after the big
lift.
When we got there they had been testing the coaster and setting up the camera
rig for the media day. Greg and I wanted to hop right on but we had
to wait just a little while longer.
