The Comet rollercoaster at The Great Escape, Lake George, New York

The Comet reigned supreme at Crystal Beach Amusement Park on the shores of Lake Erie until the park closed in 1989. From there it was auctioned off for just $210,000. It sat in storage until 1993 when construction at it's new home began.

Here are Paul and Kevin taking the Comet during our exclusive ride time. We didn't actually set up ERT but Mother nature gave it to us when she cleared out the park with a massive rainstorm earlier in the day.
