The Comet rollercoaster at The Great Escape, Lake George, New York

I got a couple of rides on The Comet before hopping off to take a bunch of pictures. I ran from shot to shot because while I wanted to get some awesome photos to show you how great this ride is I also really didn't want to get off of it, especially with all of the Zen rides (getting a coaster to ourselves) we were getting.

It was great getting to ride a classic coaster that was saved from the wrecking ball. It'd be nice if other parks did the same with some of the classic coasters that are standing but not operating right now.

The Comet was flying with only a couple of us on it and I'd love to see how much more air we'd get with a full train.

The Comet is a double out and back coaster so it goes out, comes back, turns around here and then heads out and then comes back to the station.
