The other trick is that Mine Blower, with Gravity Group's custom
designed trains can quite literally turn on a dime.
This overbanked turn that sends the train flying around the station is
by far the widest turn on the ride. The rest of them especially
when taken at high speed are just unbelievably tight and so much fun.
I'd be curious what the smallest distance the Timberliners can turn as
the radius out of the station might be ten feet. Some of Mine
Blower's high speed turnarounds radiuses might be as tight as twenty
feet.
Having designed the trains the guys at The Gravity Group certainly know
how far they can push it. That pushing it to the edge is really
what made me fall in love with this coaster.
Mine Blower has comfortable trains, an insanely twisted and aggressive
layout, tons of airtime and a wickedly fun inversion make it a winner in
my book. About the only negative (besides it being too far from my
home in Illinois) is it does have a few rough spots but I can live with
those; especially in a hot and humid environment like Central Florida.
Galaxy Spin is your standard spinning coaster from Zamperla. These
are fun. Before spinning guests around Fun Spot it began at
Florida's Legoland.
