As a coaster enthusiast I am never too proud to hop on a kiddie coaster
no matter how small.
These little E&F Miler coasters are a ton of fun that are a great way
to get the little ones into the world of rollercoasters.
Ok what was the most terrifying thing at Fun Spot Kissimmee? The
Go-Karts scared the crap out of me.
Namely it was the worlds steepest go-karts with the "Vortex" banked bowl
section of track. What happens is the first half of the track is
winding your way to the top of a tower. Once up there you gain
some speed and then start down the steepest drop which ends on the
banked bowl. By the bottom of the hill your car is rocketing and
then as soon as you hit the rubbed smooth track of the bowl your back
end shoots around and no matter if you like it or not you are drifting
around this curve like a pro. This elicited a colorful metaphor or
two each time I sped around it.
There was so much fun to be had at Fun Spot Kissimmee that I really
didn't want to go.
Mine Blower did suck me in for one more lap in the back seat before the
road and the second Fun Spot park called to me.
In the end I absolutely loved Fun Spot Kissimmee. They have a
super friendly staff who were really going out of their way to make sure
the few of us in the park were having a good time. The rides were
fun and Mine Blower is certainly the star of the show. To those in
Florida who have this in their backyard I am jealous because it is that
much fun. Maybe when I visit my folks next year I'll speed back
over to get some pizza for my parents as well as taking a few spins on
Mine Blower.
If you plan on visiting both Fun Spot parks you can purchase a one day
combo pass. It was something like $10 more. Just make sure
to let the ticket person know and they will take care of you.
