Next to the Silver Bullet is Frontier City's wooden coaster: the Wildcat.
We were all psyched to take the Wildcat for a spin but just as we got in
line it broke down. Oh well, we will be back to it later.
Sitting next to Wildcat is the last of a rare breed. Eruption was
an upcharge attraction that shot you up into the air above the rides 250
feet tall trio of towers.
Eruption's car had seats that could be set to do different positions while
it shot you up into the air. You could sit upright, have your seat
flip upside down at the top of the ride so you plunge to the ground head
first or spend most of the ride inverted. It looks like a fun ride
but according to Frontier City Eruption's manufacturer S&S Power Sports
stopped producing spare parts for it so unfortunately the park had to close
it down this year.
I wonder what Miss Kitty's profession was? I bet a pretty old one
as she was beloved by the fathers of the city.
