Now it is time to tackle our final coaster at Frontier City: the Wildcat.
Wildcat has a really cool station with photos and write ups about many of
the other wooden coasters from the area. Some of the coasters are
still running and some like the Big Dipper are long gone.
Along with info about coasters there is a nice write up about the American
Coaster Enthusiasts which is the oldest, largest and most respected coaster
club in North America. I have been a member for a long time and if
you love coasters like I do then you need to join too.
Find out more info about ACE here.
Wildcat originally opened at Fairyland Park in Kansas City, Missouri in
1967.
Fairyland Park closed in 1977 and the Wildcat sat idle until 1990 when Frontier
City purchased it, moved it, restored it and brought it back to life.
