The Wildcat was designed by Aurel Vaszin of National Amusement Devices
and its steel structure is the reason that after twelve years of sitting
idle in Kansas City this wooden coaster was able to be saved.
Wildcat has a seventy-five foot lift hill that gets you ready for an out
and back run through the woods.
It is not the steepest drop but it is after the first hill where the Wildcat
really shines.
As Wildcat goes out into the woods it is kind of a hard ride to photograph
other than the first couple of hills.
Bond and I took Wildcat's back seat for a spin for our first ride and this
cat is pretty wild. It is not the greatest coaster out there but it
is a really fun ride and a nice fit to the park.
