Well that was not quite correct as Dorney Park's oldest ride The Whip was up and running while the rest of the park was down due to rain and lightning.



Dorney's Whip was the second Whip of our trip and one of the oldest of its kind dating back to 1920.



I love that a ninety-five year old ride is still the dependable ride that runs through thick and thin while keeping kids and adults running around for another ride after ride.



I love these classic rides and I wish I didn't have to travel so far to ride one.



That is why whenever I visit a park with one I get as many rides as possible.
