The ride that Big Bear Mountain most brought to mind was The Whizzer at Six Flags Great America. 



The Whizzer; which after fifty years is still my favorite coaster at Six Flags Great America, is just such a joy to ride that you just want to ride it over and over.



Whizzer and Big Bear Mountain are just absolute pure fun.  They are the type of coaster that little kids and their grandparents ride, have a blast, and then get off and run around for another lap.



Just when you think you have made it through all of Big Bear Mountain's three thousand nine hundred and ninety feet of track you hit the rides third launch that sends you rocketing back in the direction of the station.



After the launch you hit Big Bear Mountain's highest point which gives you a chance to look around Wilderness Grove.
