As I have said Dollywood really went all out with the theming for Lightning Rod's station including paying homage to coaster enthusiasts; namely the American Coaster Enthusiasts, as the station is in the "ACE building".



After hot rodding our way around Lightning Rod for the good part of an hour (hey there were no lines) Bond and I decided to slow it down a little by hopping behind the wheel of a Caddy and go our on the Rocking Roadway.



I had to laugh when I saw that Dolly was on the cheesecake calendar in the Rocking Roadway's garage. 



Rides are not the only memorable experiences at Dollywood as music...



...and food are a big part of what makes this place memorable. 

I do have to say that the Philly cheese steak skillet is a favorite of mine.
