The Blue Streak Roller Coaster at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

During my visit we had strong winds which forced all of the big coasters like Gatekeeper, Valravn, Rougarou, and more to shut down but the Blue Streak kept giving wonderful ride after wonderful ride

If you find yourself in a situation like I did with no storms just strong winds shutting rides down just head on over to the Blue Streak to ride it over and over.

The Blue Streak is a perfect example of an out and back coaster. You head straight out from the lift hill, turn around, and then head back.

Of course there is a little more to the Blue Streak as between the lift the turnaround and the brake run there's plenty of hills taken at speed to give you a nice negative-G fix.

Buried among modern technological marvels like Raptor, Millennium Force, and more the Blue Streak is a quaint, but fun throwback to Cedar Point's earlier years.
