Draggin' Iron, I mean Iron Dragon, is the one coaster at Cedar Point that just doesn't seem to fit.



Iron Dragon is a suspended coaster by Arrow Dynamics that was added to Cedar Point in 1987.



What makes Iron Dragon not really fit Cedar Point is that it is just an ok ride.  Now I have a fondness for the ten suspended coasters that Arrow built between 1981 and 1993, but for a park that has always pushed ride designers to create impressive groundbreaking new rides Cedar Point got the worst of the bunch with this ride.



Iron Dragon has two lift hills that split up the ride.  The first half is a pretty forgettable run through the woods.



Thankfully the second half has a fun knot of track over water that gives the rides only thrill.
