Steel Vengeance has a pair of zero G rolls that wrap around the coasters
lift hill.
Now I have been heaping praise on Steel Vengeance but it's time to talk
about the second half of the ride where the ride really doesn't do it
for me.
There aren't many photos of the second half of the ride because you
pretty much dive into the massive structure of the coaster.
The second half pretty much consists of a couple of inversions which
were really fun and a bunch of small airtime hills.
You must be thinking "What's wrong with that"? Well the loops were
great but being violently thrown up into the thin lap bar with enough
force that it felt like both of my femurs were going to snap really
ruined the ride for me. The sharp pain with every hill that had me
seriously wondering if my coaster trip was going to end with me in the
hospital. I'm game for a coaster being aggressive and I can deal
with a little pain (example: the return hops on Magnum XL-200) but
this just completely turned me off on Steel Vengeance. It's a
shame as I loved the first half but until they maybe put in clamshell
restraints that spread out the force on a wider part of my legs I'm not
going to make a beeline for this coaster.
