Visiting Cedar Point during the week early in the season is nice because despite being not that crowded after five all the school groups leave and the park is really empty for the rest of the day.

In 2010 the big new addition was Shoot The Rapids. Being an Intamin designed ride it was no shock for it to open late due to the rides boats not fitting in the chute and as a result we we didn't get to ride it back then.

Shoot the Rapids is an updated version of the good old Log Flume ride. Cedar Point took out their flume to put in Maverick and then they filled that gap with Shoot The Rapids a few years later.
