You can't have a visit to Cedar Point with out at least one ride on the coaster that really made everyone sit up and take notice of Cedar Point when it shattered the 200 foot tall height barrier: Magnum XL-200.

Magnum at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

Magnum is a fun ride with some insane airtime, especially if you sit in the third row of any car. My favorite bit though is coming over the second hill to suddenly have Lake Erie all before you. It's a wonderful view.

One of the coasters in this view is worth riding and the other should be avoided at all costs.

Maverick is the coaster that you should definitely ride. It's Cedar Point's 17th and newest coaster. Designed and built by Intamin I really like the old west theming on the trains including naming each one. This one's name is Beau while I preferred the black "Bart" train.
