The Flight Deck Rollercoaster at California's Great America, Santa Clara, California

Flight Deck finishes up with a corkscrew followed by a high speed helix over a lake before heading up into the brake run.

Flight Deck was fun although I do have one issue with it.  I can easily fit any of the B&M coasters despite being a big guy but the seat belt on this one was at least two inches shorter than any other B&M inverted that I have been on.  I had to hold my breath and have the ride op press down in order to get the seat belt locked.  This isn't the only coaster with short seat belts that we ran into during our visit to California's Great America.

The Delta Flyer is a ride that I really miss from my Great America.  It is a Von Roll Gondola ride .  The station in Orleans Place is named the Delta Flyer while the station across the park in the Action Zone is called Eagles Flight.  Gondola rides like this are a great way to get across the park, take in some wonderful views and let you rest your feet for a few minutes.

As it was nearing opening time we headed back up to the front of the park to hit the rides up there.

Just like my Great America this one has a tower ride.  In the Marriott days this used to be known as the Sky Trek Tower but no more.

It has been renamed the Star Tower.  This one takes you up two hundred feet while the other Great America's goes up 330 feet.  This tower though has a coaster wrapped around it which is something that the one in Illinois doesn't have.
