It is really fun to watch the horizon just roll....
...until you are upside down and just hanging from the restraints.
Tigris is a lot of fun with the exception of the restraints. All
of the copies of this ride purchased by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment
come with a lap bar that restrains you and an additional "comfort
collar" that is anything but comfortable.
In general adding "comfort" before something like "collar" and using it
to describe something screams that it will be anything but comfortable.
It is like adding "comfort" to a colonoscopy. That means it is
going to be anything but comfortable. The lap bars hold you in
just fine as the copy of this ride that Six Flags purchased for
Six
Flags Discovery Kingdom is comfort collar free. The big benefit of
not having a heavy hard rubber "comfort collar" is when the ride whips
you over this drop you actually get to feel the airtime.
Comfort collars or not Tigris is still a pretty fun ride and a nice
addition squeezed into a small corner of Busch Gardens.
