Adventureland has a great collection of older rides like the Paratrooper, Falling Star, Galleon and Tea Cups but in the last few years they have really added a lot of new rides to the park.

It may not be the most thrilling ride in the park but I do enjoy a ride on the A-Train.

It is nice to sit down and enjoy a slow ride around the park after a day of intense coaster riding.

Here is John enjoying the G-Force ride that Adventureland has tucked away in the Main Street Arcade.  It is a weird placement as the ride is hidden behind a few rows of arcade games.  If you didn't go in to the arcade chances are you wouldn't know it was even there.

As our day began with a Sky Ride and The Monster we ended it with a ride on The Monster and a ride back to the front of the park on the Sky Ride.

To call our day at Adventureland perfect would be an understatement.  Perfect weather, light crowds, amazing rides and some of my best friends to top it all off made for a really special day.  It is great seeing Adventureland really grow and become an amazing park.  The Monster is a ride that I am going to need to experience year after year and it really is the perfect piece to complete Adventureland.  The great thing is while it might be another twenty years before Adventureland adds another coaster I'm sure they will keep improving and adding new thrills to the park year after year.

On a side note our adventure did not end here as we headed a few miles west on I-80 to Smoky D's BBQ for dinner.  Good lord what amazing food.  Sitting down for some ribs with this group was a great way to end the day.
