Before we even got into Six
Flags the Kentucky Kingdom we were asked for a picture so of course
I took one.
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
has pretty much been the red headed bastard step child of the chain
for years now. It's been known in years past for having some of
the worst customer service of any amusement park even though for a small
park it has some pretty decent rides. With this and the fact that
the Six Flags chain is under new ownership who stated they want to get
back to the basics of taking care of their customers and focusing families
it was interesting to see how the park had changed since last year.
It's always good to see a crowd
at the park before opening. Greg, who had never been to Six Flags
Kentucky Kingdom was in town visiting so we left the families back in
Santa Claus and headed east so that he could experience Six Flags Kentucky
Kingdom.
I have to say that I was very
pleased to see no smoking signs and stickers all over the park reminding
people that Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom was now smoke free except in
designated smoking areas.
Instead of the generic and
normally pretty bad pizza that you used to be able to find around Six
Flags parks one of the things that the new management has done was to
bring in Papa John's which is way better than what there was.
