With no
thing but the light of the moon for our first few rides
everything that Mystic Timbers had in store for us really was a mystery.
If you happened to be afraid of the dark you might wish to avoid Mystic
Timbers after the sun goes down because it is really dark out there in the
woods. Instead of watching rendered video of what the ride was
supposed to be like or studying the images that were released with the
rides announcement Bond and I decided to just ignore all of that and let
Mystic Timbers mystery be more than
#whatsintheshed as Kings Island
Public Relations viral marketed the ride over the winter.
Before we get more into what Mystic Timbers is and what it did to us I
had to take a little time to take a few photos of the sun rising over
Kings Island.
Witnessing the first light of a new day with a coaster silhouetted
against it is a stunning way to start a day.
Diamondback is astonishing to see in any light but today we were
there for the Timbers.
If taking a look at Mystic Timbers first drop reminds you of another
coaster you are not the only one who commented on the rides eerie
similarity to one at another Cedar Fair owned park...namely Prowler at
Worlds of Fun.
