Yukon Striker is a dive coaster designed by Bolliger & Mabillard.

Being a dive coaster of course a drop that goes straight down is the centerpiece of the ride.

Like most of the B&M designed dive coasters Yukon Striker has the familiar three rows of eight across floorless seating for its trains.  If you are on the outside Yukon Striker really lets you feel like you are hanging there out there with just nothing between your feet and the ground some 68 meters (Remember Canada does everything in metric but it is 228 feet) beneath you.

Like the old Intamin first generation free fall rides, drop coasters like Yukon Striker use anticipation as a strong part of the ride to make the experience memorable.

Right as the train comes up the point of no return; at the split second where gravity is about to take control, you stop and just sit there.  And sit there.  Waiting.
