ACE Around the World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

We hadn't been back under Patriot before so I was looking forward to getting a few new views of this coaster.

Patriot is an inverted coaster that was designed and built by Bolliger & Mabillard and was added to Worlds of Fun in 2006.

One of the plusses to having a behind the scenes tour hours before the park opens is that we got to watch Worlds of Fun's maintenance crews bring these rides to life by adding trains to the track and test them for the day.

Patriot's stats are nothing to write home about in comparison to other inverted coasters by B&M.

With a first drop of a hundred and twenty-three feet and track length a little over three thousand feet of track the ride isn't setting any records but there isn't a dull section of track from the time gravity takes over until you come speeding into Patriot's brake run.
