What is interesting is the underground part of the Orient Express is way
more than a tunnel from the station to the lift. There is quite a
bit of space down there where you get to wander around.
Of course a subterranean labyrinth is the perfect resting place for the
undead.
This hallway was one of my favorite bits of Lore of the Vampire.
Many of these heads and arms move as you walk by. It is super
creepy even without the darkness and smoke effects.
During our visit Spinning Dragons was down.
As you can see a bunch of Spinning Dragons wiring and other bits have
been ripped out. Word is they are working on adding a system like
the one at Six Flags St. Louis that allows the trains to slowly move
through the station as guests load and unload. This helps the ride
have a higher capacity which means shorter lines. Anything a park
does to get more people on rides and reduce wait time is a good thing by
me.
