The first half might be a nice family coaster but what's ahead of
you really makes this ride.
It all starts with a nice looking hill that takes the coaster over the
Worlds of Fun Railroad. What gets you is just after cresting the
hill there is a surprising twist to the right that will send you into
the side of your seat as things ramp up in intensity.
This is a photo of the second half. You must be thinking that I'm
crazy as that looks pretty tame. I mean the photo is quite sedate
and there's even a nice zebra statue out there for guests to notice as
the coaster leisurely traverses the course.
The thing is all of this track is downhill from the first half of the
ride so the Zambezi Zinger is constantly picking up speed instead of
loosing it.
Then there are twists like this where you go from banking to the left to
shipping around to the right in under ten feet. The ability to
rotate like that is just another of the Infinity Flyer's party tricks.
