The Parks 50th Anniversary Exhibition at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

Treating the 50th Anniversary of the parks opening as a big of a deal as it is, Worlds of Fun decided to put the parks history on display in the Tivoli Theater.

The Exhibition for Worlds of Fun's 50th anniversary was put together with the Lamar Hunt Family.

If you don't know who Lamar Hunt is then there's plenty for you to learn about in the 50th Exhibition. Lamar Hunt was a businessman who founded the American Football League before it was folded into the NFL. He owned the Kansas City Chief's and was the person who came up with the name "Superbowl" for the NFL Championship. In Kansas City he had several business ventures including the SubTropolis, which is the worlds largest underground business complex. On top of all of that his crowning achievement is a little park that he built on the ground above the SubTropolis called Worlds of Fun.

Worlds of Fun really went all out with everything that put on display. There is so much in here to look at and read you could spend hours pouring all over it.

Of course there is a ton of Worlds of Fun memorabilia from throughout the years on display.
