Halloween Haunt at World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

With Worlds of Fun adding Zambezi Zinger for the 2023 season I hopped on and took advantage of some of the deals that the park had for season passes which included admission for the remainder of the year as well as a Haunt/Fast Lane pass for one day during Haunt. Not having to deal with lines for the rides and haunted attractions during Haunt was a massive perk so of course we headed to Worlds of Fun to take advantage of it.

There are haunts and then there is Haunt at Worlds of Fun. Out of the limited parks that I have visited for a Halloween event Worlds of Fun certainly does the best.

Part of the reason that Worlds of Fun's Haunt is so good is that the person over all of the Haunts in the Cedar Fair chain is based out of Worlds of Fun. As a result Worlds of Fun seems to be the test bed for various attractions and they go all out for the event.

With Haunts ahead for us in the evening we spent the day on rides starting off with Patriot.

Patriot does not get the attention it deserves, especially for as much as it packs into a mid sized layout for an inverted coaster.
