Halloween Haunt at World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

If you have been keeping track of the Zinger's progress not much really had been happening lately and I wonder if that had to do with the little surprise that was discovered when clearing land. While working the site Worlds of Fun found that the original Zambezi Zinger's tunnel was still there and just had been covered up.

One of the new rules for Haunt is after 6 PM guests can not leave and reenter the park. Not wanting to carry a few bags around all night lone we sent Bond out to the car as the appointed hour drew near to get rid of them.

Speaking of the evening's festivities the park transforms from family friendly no scare to one full of freight right around six.

The changeover from no freight to terror is all centered around the Plaza Gift Store in International Plaza.

For Haunt the Plaza Gift Store has been transformed into a castle that looks an awful lot like the He Man Castle Grayskull Playset I had to put together for my little brothers for Christmas of 1984. They tacked these spooky monster trees to make it feel a little more Haunt and a little less Eternia the home of He-Man.
