ACE Around the World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

This trip to Worlds of Fun was was for more than just a day at a park. After several years of planning and it getting delayed by Covid the American Coaster Enthusiasts ACE Around the World event was finally on and I was excited to see what Worlds of Fun had in store for us.

Beyond the event the Grand Carnivale was going on at the park so everything was a little more festive.

The day began bright and early, well before the park opened, with a behind the scenes tour of...

...Timber Wolf.

Over the last five years Worlds of Fun have really put a ton of effort in bringing Timber Wolf back from it's "intense ride jostling" past to return it to a world class kick ass ride. Several of the crew were on hand to talk us through all of the work that has been done as well as what goes into keeping this ride in top notch form on a daily basis.
