Winterfest at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

All of the themed areas at Worlds of Fun got holiday makeovers for WinterFest.

Americana becomes Tinsel Town, Scandinavia becomes the Scandi Elf Village, Africa becomes the Old West Christmas and the Orient becomes the Orient Lantern Fest.

The Orient Lantern Fest was just gorgeous. Honestly Worlds of Fun needs to leave these up all year long.

The pond next to the Bamboozler lit up the night with electric koi.

Spinning Dragons was even lit up for WinterFest.

Speaking of coasters Worlds of Fun opens three coasters for WinterFest. There was Prowler, Spinning Dragons and the Cosmic Coaster. I tried to get Charlotte on all three as this was her first visit to Worlds of Fun. Unfortunately Spinning Dragons shut down due to the cold before we were able to take it for a ride. In the end though Charlotte got her fifteenth coaster (Prowler) and her sixteenth coaster (Cosmic Coaster). She may not be in the hundreds of coasters like Bond and I have but I'm sure that coming into this family and enjoying coasters like she does she will catch up in no time.
