Opening Day Campout

We were ready to ride but no one else at "Camp Worlds of Fun" was
as up and ready to go as we were.
Even our prehistoric neighbor was quiet during the night. It'd be
nice if the tent of teenage girls nearby was as quiet as this dinosaur but
after John pulled up his sleeves to show his tattoos, pulled his hoodie
over his head to look menacing and asked politely that they take it down
a few decibels the noise was a little bit better. Listening to teenage
girl soap operas made me yet again be thankful to have a son.
One of the benefits to camping out; besides sodas and snacks the night before,
is early entry into Worlds of Fun for breakfast and an hour of Patriot before
the park opens to everyone else.
With the sun still slowly rising and a couple of hours before we could get
into the park we struck camp and then took a walk around the front of Worlds
of Fun for a different view of some of their coasters like Patriot.
