Another thing to watch out for are crowds because the Haunt's denizens like to slip into the flow of people before striking the unsuspecting.



Speaking of sneaking up on you the shovel guys at Worlds of Fun are some of my favorites.  The sound of a shovel slamming down on asphalt right behind you is a great scare.  I love creative stuff like that because everyone is expecting some monster to jump out and get in your face but we're not expecting to be assaulted by something as simple as sound.



At Worlds of Fun's Haunt you can't go twenty feet without running into a decoration, lights or a monster.



Corn Stalkers is one of the best haunts at Worlds of Fun.



I'm not going to spoil the fun but the claustrophobic nature of winding through a corn maze filled with monsters while being hit with leaves from the stalks really messes with you.
