With Worlds of Fun completely covered in darkness the Overlord arose over the crowd to direct his minions and monsters.



Overlord rose to command the evil clowns from CarnEvil, the wax figures that have come to life in Lizzie Bordern's Wax Museum...



...the walking dead flesh eaters of Zombie High, Jack the Ripper and his victims from London Terror, the undead in Lore of the Vampire...



...the bloodthirsty butchers of the Bloodshed, the mutilated cowboys of  Outlaw's Revenge, the dark force that lurks in the rows of corn that is Corn Stalkers and the twisted inmates at Asylum Island all to rise into the night and to head out through the park and work their terror towards us "normals".



With his orders sent out to his army of terror he once again descends into his crypt until the night calls him once again.

All dramatics aside I have always skipped this show because with everyone packing in to the front of the park lines go down and I can squeeze even more rides in.  After seeing the Overlord's Awakening there's no way I'd miss it again.  It was extremely cool and half the fun was just watching some of the haunt actors mess with people waiting in the crowd.
