Coasting For Kids

As the event was called "Coasting For Kids" of course the majority
of the day we'd be hitting the coasters at Worlds of Fun and hitting
them hard.
Our first ride session was at Mamba where all of the Coasting For Kids
participants would have a train to ourselves for two hours.
After an hour of ups and downs and ups and downs on Mamba it got to Bond
so he had to take a time out so I sent him out with my camera to play
around for a bit. Here's one of his photos. I'm sitting in
the back of the first car.
With two hours of Mamba under our belt it was time for lunch and we had
the famous adventurers Phileas Fogg and Nellie Bly who are Worlds of
Fun's mascots joining us for our meal. Phileas Fogg was the
fictional adventurer in the Jules Verne book "Around the World in Eighty
Days" and Nellie Bly was a real world journalist for the New York World
newspaper who in 1889 took the fictional route of Fogg around the world
in a record seventy-two days.
