Here's a coaster at Worlds of Fun that most people forget about, the
Wacky Worm.
The Wacky Worm is a nice super cute kids coaster. The thing is most
coaster enthusiasts haven't scored this particular credit because you normally
have to have a kid in order to ride a kids coaster at a Cedar Fair owned
park like Worlds of Fun. I hadn't been able to ride it on my previous
trip and neither had Brian been able to score this elusive credit on several
of his visits. Well that was about to change.
Yes we got to ride Worlds of Fun's Wacky Worm. I figured it wouldn't
hurt to ask if we could ride and before I could ask my question the ride
operator asked if I was Paul from Negative-G. Of course I am or you
wouldn't be reading this here but he was totally cool with letting us coaster
geeks go for a ride on the fun little coaster. Sometimes it's nice
being known.
It's hard not to look at one of the Wacky Worm's trains and not grin.
It's just a great coaster to get the little ones into riding. Next
time I go to Worlds of Fun I'm bringing Bond along as he has already declared
that he'd like some ERT on it.
