Cresting the lift hill Patriot sends you through a spiraling first drop, a loop and then into a fantastic zero-g roll.

What was nice about Patriot's design was that you're able to actually enjoy the speed and flying low to the ground as after the zero-g roll there's a nice low to the ground flat section of track.  Now after the flat section is my favorite part of Patriot...this yummy inversion.

There's something about an Immelman that I just really love.  First off you have the traditional pull up for the loop but instead of continuing over and back the same direction you started you twist at the top of the loop and go back the way you came.  It's just a great feeling and I was all grins through it.

After the Immelamn Patriot follows up with several nice twists, turns and a corkscrew which are a blast but even before I reached them Patriot had already cemented itself as my favorite inverted coaster.  It doesn't beat the crap out of you like the various Batman's out there or Raptor which is the only other B&M custom inverted that I have been on.  Patriot just gives you a great ride from start to finish.
