Nile's Fury was a really fun rapids ride. It's really long and unlike
most rapids rides the channel is extremely wide in some sections.
One neat bit was a wide section where it was more like a wave pool
than a rapids ride.
Our next stop, sadly as it beat us up was Worlds of Fun's Boomerang.
I'm not even going to post a picture of the ride because like every other
of the bazillion boomerangs out there it's a bad ride. Sadly though
the entrance to the Boomerang used to be the station for the legendary Zambezi
Zinger coaster. Worlds of Fun claims that they removed it due to maintenance
costs but it's currently running at a park with probably a fraction of the
resources that Worlds of Fun has down in South America so I don't totally
buy their explanation.
After leaving Mamba and the Nile's Fury behind we were back into one of
the old sections of the park where there was lush greenery everywhere.
Zulu is your standard Schwarzkopf Enterprise ride that spins you around
and then head over heels again and again. Brian and Andy took this
one for a ride while Greg and I sat it out.
