The sign at the entrance to Injun Joe's Cave says he hasn't been seen
for a while but you never know so keep an eye out as you spelunk your way
through his cave.
The caves on Tom Sawyer's Island are not just caves but they also double
as an old school fun houses with a tilted room, bottomless pit and several
other gags you experience as you explore them.
Across the rope bridge from Tom Sawyer's Island is a second island that
is the home to Fort Langhorn. This was a favorite of mine when I was
a kid because you've got the chance to take a few shots at the boats that
go by, lock up your siblings in the stockade and escape through the secret
escape tunnel.
Thirty-two years ago you could have taken a picture just like this with
myself doing the same thing. It's a boy thing...deal with it.
While Bond and I ran all over Fort Langhorn shooting each other and the
bad guys Carrie found what has to be the most peaceful and secluded spot
in the entire Magic Kingdom to relax.
