The Steel Dragon was the second new coaster for me at Waldameer.



Steel Dragon is a spinning coaster that was designed by Mauer Sohne and opened in 2004.  It's a little different than all of the spinning coasters that I've been on as instead of facing each other or having all of the riders face the same direction you sit back to back on this one.

Steel Dragon was a fun little coaster but it seemed like it was kind of hard to really get some heavy duty spins on it due to all of the weight being in the center of the car.
