The second day of the Negative-G 2012 Road Trip found us still along the shores of Lake Erie. This time we were in Erie, Pennsylvania at Waldameer Park. Here's Bond and Mike waiting for all the other guys to show up.

Bond and I had a few big reasons to get to Waldameer. The biggest was to get to visit with our old friend (no that's not a comment on your Age Kathy...just a comment on how long we've known you) Kathy who lives near Waldameer. The first time we met Kathy Bond was a baby and he spent a bunch of time cradled in Kathy's arms and now he's almost as tall as she is. Oh how time flies.

Hey Kathy...open your eyes next time. ;-)

The last time I was at Waldameer in 2004 this coaster was just a dream that the park had since the early 1990's. After a decade and a half of jumping through governmental hurdles with environmental impact statements and lawsuits brought by the campground next door ground was finally broken in 2007 with the Ravine Flyer 2's opening the next May.
