I love classic hand carved carousel horses because there's a soul to them. Metal or fiberglass horses just feel hollow and lifeless.

Bond wanted to get all wet so we hopped on Valleyfair's Thunder Canyon for a ride.

Thunder Canyon sits at the far end of the park and is actually outside of the park's flood wall. Being out there my guess is that it's designed to be able to survive a flood. Speaking of floods Thunder Canyon is a fun ride and you will get pretty wet on it. Thankfully on our boat I was spared a soaking.
