The completely terrifying Velocicoaster launched themed new for 2021 rollercoaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure, Orlando, Florida

Velocicoaster was my 550th coaster. Where does it rank among those 550 you ask? For the first time in about twenty years I have a new #1. Mindbender at Six Flags over Georgia has been dethroned as my favorite steel coaster. Velocicoaster is aggressive, relentless, filled with everything I could ever want and is probably the best themed coaster EVER. Velocicoaster is so good that if you put it right next to my #1 wooden coaster, which is Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City, my brain would probably short circuit and go into meltdown mode of having to decide which one to ride.

There is no hype about Velocicoaster....it is THAT good.

The Wizzarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade at Universal's Islands of Adventure, Orlando, Florida

We are finally around to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade. This is where I entered Universal's Islands of Adventure after taking the Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios Florida. If you read that trip report I mentioned that the Hogwarts Express is an amazing themed way to stay within the themed world and seamlessly go between the two parks.

Getting off of the Hogwarts Express you find yourself in the cozy confines of Hogsmeade.

When in Hogsmeade please respect the spell limits and no doing any dark arts with your wand.
