Skull Island Reign of Kong at Universal's Islands of Adventure, Orlando, Florida

Squeezed between Toon Lagoon and Jurassic Park is one of the smallest sections of Universal's Islands of Adventure.

That section is Kong: Skull Island.

The only attraction in Skull Island is the wonderfully fun Kong: Reign of Skull Island. The ride is pretty simple you are taking a sightseeing journey on a large truck out into the wilds of Skull Island. Of course with all sorts of prehistoric gigantic monsters inhabiting the island you will have close encounters with them as well as the Island's protector, the one and only King Kong.

A little tip is when it rains, which it almost certainly will in Florida, head out and ride dark rides like Kong, Spider-Man or Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as they run in the rain with the rides being indoors. Kong technically has a bit where the truck you are loaded onto heads outside but when it starts raining the truck uses a shortcut to keep guests dry.
