The front part of Universal Studios Florida is the "Production
Central" part of the park with studio soundstages that house rides and
shows like Shrek 4D or Transformers The Ride in 3D.
The big ride that towers over all of the soundstages and quite a bit of
the park is the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster.
Built in 2009 this is the largest Mauer Sohne X-Coaster built.
Having really enjoyed Mauer Sohne's X-Coaster at
Magic Springs and Crystal Falls
in Arkansas I was looking forward to giving the Rip Ride Rocket a
spin or two.
What I really liked about X-Coaster was that the restraints were
extremely comfortable while leaving riders feeling exposed especially
when dangling upside down. That freedom really added a lot of
terror and thrill to the ride.
